Very helpful staff who used Google translate if no one was around who spoke English. We stayed in room 22 and I would agree with another review that the bed could be more comfortable and the bathroom needs renovation….the spa bath is old and not working. Breakfast itself was good but the outside area could be set up for breakfast to relieve the congestion. We couldn’t get in one morning and had to to come back when nearly everything was finished. The outlook is lovely and Azeda beach for swimming is an 8 minute walk or a 3 minute water taxi ride away. Close to restaurants for eating and a water taxi to the centre is a 5 minute ride. Great location, clean, helpful staff, cheerful approach.

It’s a lovely Pousada in a great location. Two issues however: very old and extremely loud air conditioners in the rooms which makes sleeping almost impossible and many of the reception staff are incompetent and untrained which is quite frustrating.

Very nice Pousada with great rooms, some with sea view. The service is excellent, breakfast better than in most 5star hotels and everything is very clean. You get more for your money than in most other places. I will return...
